Resources & Links

Larry has many tools that he uses to manage his auto repair shop, D&D Automotive, in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Here are also some links that can be useful for others searching for help with their disabilities.

Computer Software: AllsystemsMax

To manage D&D Automotive, Larry uses AllsystemsMax shop management software which has been modified so that all functions can be quickly accessed without the use of a mosue. For details visit http://www.allsystemsmax.com and contact Steve Miller.

Screen Reader program

JAWS, one of many adaptive technology products from Freedom Scientific selectively reads the entire content of not only all screens and reports in AllsystemsMax, but also all the other software Larry uses to run his shop, such as the online version of Alldata Service Advisor.

The Oregon Commission for the Blind played a huge role in Larry's recovery and retraining.

My Choice

"I just want to let people out there (that have a disability) know...they have a choice to make - to give up, or take the disability and continue on with their lives because they can. If I can work on cars, run my shop, drive cars... then there are things they can do as well, if they really choose to do it." - Larry Woody
